We have some great spots ready to kick out some nice fish. It’s just a waiting game now. If your looking for a fun and exciting time on the ice give me a call. A few bites we are looking forward to are Walleyes on Spirit Lake, West Okoboji Gills and Perch, Clear Lake Yellows and Lake X Walleyes. First ice is going to be fantastic so keep an eye on my fishing reports and if it sounds like something that you would like to try give me a call. Please go to my rates page for pricing.

It’s time for fall panfish
The blue gills and crappies are on the chew and its also time to start talking abut Ice Fishing. This winter you will have two places to hear my fishing reports. 1st is this site and second is iceteam.com Visit http://www.iceteam.com/audio-fishing-reports/ My audio reports will be about Clear Lake and the Iowa Great Lakes.
Walleye’s warming up and Muskie still hungry!
The water is in the low 50’s and the Walleyes are starting to pick up. We fished yesterday for a while and boated two good eaters along with a pile of Yellows. I think if we strictly fish for Walleyes we could boat a couple limits. These fish came on a jig and minnow. We will be out this weekend looking for more eyes and Yellows and I’ll try to post a report Sunday! The Muskie fishing is still good. We are boating one fish per trip on average. Muskie fishing is hard work but man it is totally worth it!
Early October Fishing!
The fishing has been pretty good over the last couple of weeks. The Walleye fishing is still slow but we have been catching some nice large mouth bass along with some great looking Clear Lake Musky. The Yellow Bass are also on the chew.
We are looking forward to this winter. This ice fishing season is going to be one to remember.
We have been booking many winter trips already and some weekends are going to fill very fast so if you have plans to visit KPGS this winter contact us soon.
Another Crazy trip!
Last night we fished 4 hours and boated 150 Yellows. Most of the fish are great eating size. 9 to 11 inches. If your looking for a fun time this is it.
Cooler weather is on the way!
With the cooler weather on the way we will be back out Musky fishing next week. The bite has been great this year and we have been boating fish on almost every trip. If your looking for a fun Iowa Fishing trip give me a call. We can put you on numbers (panfish) or a Musky if thats what you want. We have two boats working Clear Lake and one on Coralville call today for more details about Kevan Pauls Guide Service.
Keep in mind that the Walleye bite will start to pick up in September.
Good numbers of Yellow are coming from shallow water. Run a small jig and live bait.

The bite is still great!!
There has been a great bite across Iowa. I’ve been on West O. and Clear Lake and both have been a great time. We are still pulling spinners on Clear and on West we are pitching for Bass and jigging for panfish and Walleyes. I have some great spots open in the next couple of weeks so give me a call if you want to get in on some of this action.
