Great Muskie Fishing!! Are You Ready?

The Last couple days have been great Muskie fishing. This year has blessed us with some great fish. The best part of my fully guided trips are that I will show and teach you exactly how to put one of these in the boat.  The top photo is Dan and his 1st ever Muskie!!!!

Muskie Bite is great and the Yellows are about to go on Fire.

The Yellow Bass fishing is starting to pick up. If we put a little work into it I think we could boat a pile of them. (100Plus)  The Muskie fishing is also great.  Most trips are landing at least one and some are getting multiple opportunities to put some nice fish in the boat. Mike and His Father Bob (75yr old) both picked up a nice fish on Sunday Night.  Photo – Mike with is nice Clear Lake fish.
If Muskie or Yellow Bass fishing has your interest please feel free to shoot me a email or give me a call.

September should be lights out Yellow Bass fishing and we do have some weekend spots available.

Walleye’s warming up and Muskie still hungry!

Walleye Clear Lake 10-17The water is in the low 50’s and the Walleyes are starting to pick up.  We fished yesterday for a while and boated two good eaters along with a pile of Yellows. I think if we strictly fish for Walleyes we could boat a couple limits.  These fish came on a jig and minnow.  We will be out this weekend looking for more eyes and Yellows and I’ll try to post a report Sunday!  The Muskie fishing is still good. We are boating one fish per trip on average. Muskie fishing is hard work but man it is totally worth it!

Early October Fishing!

The fishing has been pretty good over the last couple of weeks.  The Walleye fishing is still slow but we have been catching some nice large mouth bass along with some great looking Clear Lake Musky.  The Yellow Bass are also on the chew.

We are looking forward to this winter.  This ice fishing season is going to be one to remember.

We have been booking many winter trips already and some weekends are going to fill very fast so if you have plans to visit KPGS this winter contact us soon. 20131008_105530IMG950448musky 42 10-6-13

The last couple weeks.

The fishing over the last couple of weeks has been great.  Lots of Yellow Bass are being caught and also the Muskie are still going good.  Most of the Yellows have gone shallow and the Muskie are not far behind.  The Walleye bite has remained slow. We have been getting a few pulling live bait and cranks.

The Fall has arrived!!

The fishing over the last few weeks has been good. We have been catching Musky, Yellows and a few Walleyes. We are getting very excited for October to arrive.  The water is starting to clear up and the temp has been dropping.  If you’re looking for an exciting fishing trip you will not want to miss out on what we have to offer. If you would like to just visit about what we have to offer please give me a call. Also remember I’m a full service guide and we supply all the equipment and gear needed to have an enjoyable time.

Its a hot bite and great weather!!!

The weather is great and so is the fishing. I’ve heard many good reports from labor day weekend. I was in South Dakota catching Jumbo Perch and Top Water Large Mouth Bass. We had a great time but I’m ready to get back on my home water.

I will have my boat back later today or early tomorrow and I can’t wait to get back out and catch some good fish! I do have 1 or 2 spots open for next weekend and some 4 hr or 7 hr slots open within the next 10 days.

Musky, Walleye, and Yellows are the best targets right now.

Cooler weather is on the way!

With the cooler weather on the way we will be back out Musky fishing next week. The bite has been great this year and we have been boating fish on almost every trip.  If your looking for a fun Iowa Fishing trip give me a call. We can put you on numbers (panfish) or a Musky if thats what you want.  We have two boats working Clear Lake and one on Coralville call today for more details about Kevan Pauls Guide Service.

Keep in mind that the Walleye bite will start to pick up in September.

100 fish day!
