At least with all these storms we are still landing some great fish! Muskies love crazy weather and that’s one thing that we have had a lot of. Chris popped his and then his friend landed her fish 3 cast later. Nice job guys! Thanks again!
Two for Two!
The Crappie bite has been great. The fish have been running 9 to 12 inches. Clear Lake has been very good this year. We have had some great walleye trips also. I’ve attached a few pictures from the trips over the last couple days. We even boated the 1st Muskie yesterday while fishing for Walleye. That a sweet bonus!!
The bite has been great! We have been dealing with some crazy weather but we are still making things happen. Limits of Walleye and some eater size Crappies have been hitting the livewells. Over the next couple weeks we have many weekday spots open and a couple weekend spots. I’ve been fishing on and around Clear Lake and the fishing has been great. Lots of panfish are being caught and we still have lots of ice fishing left in this season. I’ll be off to Boji Monday night and won’t be home until Friday night. It sounds like the bite has been getting better and I’m looking forward to some better fishing over there. We do have some spots open over the next few weeks so if your looking for a fun bite give us a call.

Over the last few days I can honestly say that we got are butts handed to us. This was the worst weekend I have ever had. The good news is that it can only get better. We did manage to catch a few hogs. I’ll be going back over Wednesday to work on the bite for the upcoming run of trips. I’m going to try a couple different game plans and I do think they will pay off.
Clear Lake has continued to be good for Yellow Bass and Crappie.
Crystal Lake has been a hot spot for Gills and Crappie. Both of those lakes are located in North Central Iowa and a lot of fun to fish.
ICE REPORT!! The ice is great with little to no snow cover. 20 to 24 inches most everywhere.

I spent the day at Bass Pro in Altoona Iowa. The turnout was huge and the people were great. During my seminar we talked about North Iowa Fishing Tactics. We spent some time talking about Clear Lake, Crystal Lake, and the Iowa Great Lakes. I would like to thank everyone that came out today despite the cold weather.

I’ll be honest with ya the fishing has been very tough but we will managed to stick some good fish. Everything should pick up after this next cold spell. The best area on Spirit was the east shore 17 to 20 ft and my panfish came from Minne in 11 fow.
When I got back to Clear Lake the fishing was on fire. Lots of Yellows / Crappie and some keeper Walleye Mixed in. Im pretty booked up for this week but I do have a few days open next week during the week. If your looking to just catch a bunch of fish give me a call. Im sure we can put you in the right spot. 
The Bite is on. I will be running full-time starting Monday! I fished today for a couple hours and did very well on Crappies and Yellow Bass. If your looking for a good early bite with big numbers DONT WAIT! Chris and I are rocking out multiple lakes and we can get you on a good bite.
